Can't you just get on!
So Kaos is 8 weeks tomorrow,
She's been here for nearly a week now, and the other dogs don't seem to be getting on with her. Due to my working hours, my mum who is a dog lover herself has agreed to look after her for a few days, on the condition it gets on with her three, but it doesn't! I know if I can get my mums pup on board the others will follow.
The pup seems to run, bounce about and all sorts, but my mums puppy (Yorkshire terrier 8 months) just keeps running off and nipping at her..
How do I get the dogs to get on! At the moment I've made a big dog pen for Kaos to stay in and the yorkshire just keeps circling the pen, whilst the pup barks madly..
Is it something they will adapt to , or will it always be this way! any tips appreciated.

The trouble is (in my opinion) that yorkie tend to a bit out of control as people tend to think their cheekiness is cute. So the chances are that the yorkie will always yap at the puppy which could be trouble down the line.

you have to be in control of both dog and that type of behaver is not allow

I think walking them together sounds like a good idea, maybe I should try walking the pup with each one on its own slowly, before moving onto walking them as a group! cheers for the advice. I don't disagree yorkshire terriers get away with murder!

Yep, agree that both you and your mother are going to have to be committed to making it work (means mom's going to have to teach yorkie to behave). If you don't it could be trouble when your pup gets big enough to become really disgurntled with mother's dog. It can work though, just takes some training and walking together is a great first step!

i agree about he yorkie if it was in a room with older dogs it would get told off for its behaviour but your pup won't tell it off cos it doesnt know doggie etiquette or how to behave yet so it will pick up on the yorkies behaviour and think this is ok when its not. all the dogs need to be on the same discapline track which means your mum getting on board with you and treating them all the same showing them what is acceptable and what isnt. you dont want the pup picking up bad habbits

The problem at the moment is that Kaos is only 8 weeks old, so won't be able to go out for a few weeks until she has had all her vaccinations.
For now, I would wait until all the dogs have been fed and walked, then reintroduce them in a calm way. If they've been fed and walked before hand, they should have less energy and be feeling good for eating.
As Steve said, you must maintain control. The Yorkie definitely needs telling, because although it is still a pup at 8 months old, it is old enough to listen and do as it's told. You say your dogs don't like Kaos - how do they react to her exactly? You have to make them all, Kaos included, understand that you won't have them growling/nipping etc unless it's just in play. A firm 'AH AH! and a timeout for the offending dog should help.
They will get used to each other but it's all new to them at the mo. My cat hated Charlie when we first brought him home. He would hiss at him and swipe at him if he got too close, now they're the best of friends and often curl up on the chair together.
It will just take time, patience, perseverance and consistency. Good luck
