I believe that in general they grow taller the first year and grow in width until they are 2-3 years old.

All dogs in general except the toy/smaller breeds, but even then they are not mentally and completly physically mature until around 2-3 years old. 1-2 years they usually grow up and 2-3 they grow out. Thats why breeding is only recommended after the two year mark.

All dogs in general are considered fully grown at 2 years old.

They loose the puppy status at 6 months old and become a junior or juvenile until 18 months old and are then classed as an adult.

With most staffies you will find in the first year they hit full height quickly then slowly fill out to their adult size until they are 2 years old or there abouts.

Obviously they change shape over the years, put weight on loose weight etc but this is normal providing its not excessive.

Hope this helps

Bull breeds mature slowly. Although staffordshires generally reach their full height and weight by two, mentally they are not adults untill three.
