Seasonal Avatars

First topic message reminder :

Starting on the 1st of every month I will post in this thread a theme for our avatars. For example if I say Harry Potter as a theme, then your avatar can be anything to do with Harry Potter. This thread is open to discussion of other posters avatars and suggestions for other themes.

It'll only last a week, afterwards we go back to our standard staffy avatars.

All are welcome to participate

I'll pass on watching that....

Although our UK friends here will love it

Right I want to join but for a total computer numpty can someone help were do you get pics from (ive just about got the knowlege of putting my camera card in and putting pics up in my avitar)
So plain english that I who hate technology can understand Pleaseeeeeeee x

I typed the 1980's into google, and then clicked images on the left..

all I can say about the 1980's..... how embarrassment !!!

gem the other way of doing it, is think of something you remember from the 80's say "Live Aid"or Princess Di, then google it.
Click on images and you get heaps to choose from. Just save one into a folder on your hard drive and choose that pic the same way you do when you change you avatar

OMG... I love Effie! My hair looks like hers when I don't "do" it... it's always straight and if it hasn't been straightened, it's pulled back! My husband gets a shock when I let it go LOL... Do you remember the comedy company... LOVED Kylie Mole

This weeks theme finishes on the 7th. A new theme will be announced on the 1st of march and on the 1st of every month. The theme lasts for a week. But by all means you are very much welcome to join in this weeks theme even though we only got couple days left :/

The theme is 1980's

What I did find images was this...

Image search on google > search (for example) 1980's > click on image > then click on full size image > then copy the code (URL) up above > then paste code (URL) in that slot just below 'Choose File' > Click save.

I completely forgot about the "Comedy Company", maybe I should try and find a pic of "Con the fruiterer" for my last ditch effort

She's a legend! "Oh my gawd, how embarrassment." Acropolis now! And the sleaze called Wayne "Chicky Babe"! I remember these shows but not a lot... my mum used to get her hair permed and she really looked like Effie!

I see her every day so I suppose I don't notice it, everyone does comment that she is in fantastic condition though.

She has certainly filled out since geting her, its nearly her 2 year gotcha day Did you know that Moo and Dempsy are nearly exactly the same age!

I suppose they are! Dempsey will be 3 in April.

It's always hard when they are aging. Hopefully she is having more good days than bad
