Where is she at night?

As a rule you just have to ignore the crying, it will pass in time. Don't comfort other she will think crying = Attention. Sounds harsh but honestly its not forever Smile

IF she is in a crate at night i would cover the crate with a blanket or something so she cant see what is around her and making her want to get out and play etc .. also end play time and try and get her to wind down an hour or 30mins before bed time, she will never settle if she is hyped up lol.
This worked for me when i had my skye (Vinnie wasnt too bad)

We were quite lucky with Billy he only cried for a few nights but good advice from Kelly putting a blanket on and make sure she has had no stimulation
And good luck eventually it will end

How long has she been crying at night, and what do you do when she does?

Oh dear, at 8 weeks she's still missing her siblings. Don't worry, she'll get used to being alone at night quite quickly, normally only 3 or 4 nights at the most!

Agree with Caryll... Vlad cried for a few nights, now he sleeps up to 12 hours and we still struggle to wake him up of a morning! They get better. Big Grin

Awww, she's still so young.

When we first got our girl, we put a cuddly soft toy with her to snuggle up to ( a a kind of surrogate sibling )
I have heard people mention putting a ticking clock under the blankets or having a radio on in the room (but turned down VERY low)
It can be hard to ignore the crying, but really is the best way to get them to stop. If you give her attention when she is crying, she will think that the more she cries, the more attention she will get and you would be fighting a losing battle.
Stay strong and she will get better ( it might not seem like it now, but i'm sure you'll notice results soon )

Good luck

yes I agree with all the advice above.. both my boys seem to love the radio on, as Lisa said above, very low ( and not on a heavy metal station!! )
And yes cover the crate so it is nice and dark and like a little cave at night time..
It will get better I promise..you have to ignore the crying.. trust me I KNOW it is hard at the time..!

so glad to hear it! good girl!!

I know it is really hard to ignore them...Winston had 9 brothers and sisters and his first night all alone ..my heart was telling me go and pick him up and cuddle him..poor baby. I am glad I didn't though! or I would still be doing it probably.
