dog's name
my son's called jack and the dog's name is jake do u think this might confuse the dog.
he's 9 weeks old so could change name now and whats best way for him to learn his name doesn't seem to answer to it .i know u need patience he has already learnt to sit when told bur doesn't really react when u call him.
any suggestions for a new name anyone
could be samson that's what we called our old staffy

so long as one of answers you when you shout them no the pup should get used to the difference in the sound of the word

Aww he will learn his name in time and yes I think he will be able to tell the difference. Mine answers to anything to be honest (and its not always nice), I think its the tone I say it in
