Ittsss Hereee
Well my little girl after weeks of symptoms has started her first season bless her .. ive made sure everyone in my house knows she dont go for walks unless its Early morning or Late night and that she is kept on the lead in the garden etc all the main's!.
Vinnie is been a good lad with her, we are watching them with eagle eyes and when we are not around she goes in the crate and vin on his bed .. but hes not bothered at the moment but she is only just dotting here and there at the moment.
They will be walked separate untill shes finished (theyre walked separate often now anyway cuz skye was getting to reliable on vinnie and was scared of things on her own) .. walked them together the other night because i had to go out after so instead of a walk taking me 2 hours just took me one, vinnie was protecting skye from another male and got really loud with him (no aggression just barking/growling warnings).
So .. shes finally started bless her, and when shes finished 3months after its time for her op (she was meant 2b operated on b4 her season but cant be helped ) .. anyone got any advice? im going to invest in hygiene pants for her .. i cant have one of my dogs go to another house to keep em separate before i get told it lol, no one i trust could have one of them and anyone i know who could i dont trust too lol, i have a crate, i have garden leads and i love my dogs enough to make sure nothing happens i dont work (currently seeking! eugh takes the mik! lol) so i am home 24-7 so easier for me to keep an eye on them both .

Aw, she's all growed up!
Well, as long as you keep them apart, especially in the last 3rd of her season, good luck to you! It won't be easy, and I'd advise you to take Vinnie out of the room at night, even if she's locked in her crate. Bitches in season (and dogs after them) have been known to chew through anything to get to something they want!

I forgot that Vinnie was castrated! I was thinking you'd have to keep them apart. He'll still be interested, but at least you won't have to worry about unplanned pups!

Re: Ittsss Hereee
Its basically a sanitry towel in the pants. I would change Moo's every morning, but she would only wear it at night. She was at work with me in the day, I noticed the spots but no one else did lol!
Just use it at night, although yours is crated?? I wouldn't use them as a day relief as they rub. Basically its a pad and needs changing with the amount you keep it on

I'd play it by ear. If she gets a bit tetchy with him sniffing around her all the time I'd separate them. But if they're both happy enough to be together, then there's no problem.

Re: Ittsss Hereee
Yeea we have been keeping an eye on that since her symptoms started .. he has annoyed her once or twice and shes told him i have separated them both and then they are back to normal .. Today's the first time shes actually bled, well we thought we saw one or two dots y.day and hes not annoyed her once .. They just beat each other up like usual lol

Re: Ittsss Hereee
Because we are having our fences fixed as they can jump over them and found gaps to get through, our neighbours garden has no fence next to her so they can escape .. Better to be safe than sorry .. Theyre long leads not normal size lol
