Could she be?
Skye will be 7months old on the 12th and i am wondering if she might be starting to come into her first season .. We was planning on having her spayed the end of this month but if she is then obviously it will need to wait untill next month .. Anyway!, i think the area has become swollen and she is licking it alot more than usual .. Vinnie is been overly interested and keeps trying to mount her, even when the poor lil thing is trying to go the bathroom! Poor lil mite so they go out seperate atm .. She has also been jumping our stupid garden fence we never had a problem with her jumping it b4 but now as soon as u let her out she will just shoot over it .. So we are having to make sure she dnt go out there unless shes on her lead which sucks 4 her untill our new fence is sorted.
Anybody know if she could be or? .. Im on edge constantly tht she'll get over the fence n' im too late and she dissapears so im so over protective of her at the mo.

Re: Could she be?
She could be, Millie had her first season at around 6 months old and she was the same, area swollen, licking at it more and she seemed to be a bit moody, going off to lie down. She was booked in to get spayed but they had to put it off for 3 months. took me by surprise that she had it so young and trying to keep male dogs away was a nightmare lol. Took her to my mums, A farm in the countryside thinking she would be able to get out in the garden but no, a wee Jack Russell followed us up there jumping on her, jumping on me when i lifted her, rolling her in a ditch. In the end the farmer took him home in his car I felt so bad for her but she was fine. Just waited a few months then got her spayed.

Re: Could she be?
Certainly sounds like it. As mentioned above you'll have to wait 3 months after the season to have her done. And yes keep them seperated at all times, if you do have a friend or reletive she or he could stay with then that would be ideal, if not keep an eye on them at all times.

Yes, sounds like it. The first season will often start around 6 months or so. You'll have to wait till she's mid-seasons (another 3 months) to get her spayed so that all her organs are back to normal.
