hi im new

have a 4 month old staff and would apreciat any help whats best 4 her im feeding her on tripe and dry food at mo but she still looks a bit thin side

hello and welcome to the forum.

what dry food are you feeding? as some do not have very good ingredients, so they tend to poo most of it out.

Good dry foods, arden grange, burns, wainwrights, Orijen, Fish4dogs and a few people on here use harringtons.

You can also feed chicken (raw is best) sardines/makeral, carrots etc. Have a read through the feeding section on the forum, you should get some ideas there.

How much does she weigh. Mine is 4months on sunday and was about 9kilos when we weighed him about a week ago. He's really skinny and gangly too but apparently that's just a stage they go through.

I cant help with the food as i have never heard of that brand, does the food contain any colours or sugar? as those ingredients are not good for him? if he eats all his food and is still hungry give him a little bit more food

no no suger or colorings and it sais 4 working dogs and from a pet and farm holesalers and mix with tripe from pets at home

Check out my recent thread on exactly the same subject. You're not alone. I know a little bit about dogs but next to nowt about staffies so I was a bit puzzled too. Luckily I have got these great people to keep me straight!

Poppy is gorgeous. She looks great to me.

she looks fine in fact some girl staffies generally dont start to fill out untill they are three years old our girl molly grew in height to start with and it wasnt untill recently she started to look a bit porkier ? i thought she maybe had worms as her little belly looked all bigger! or she had been stealing our other staffies food nut the vet had a look at her and said , shes just starting to fill out now. so dont worry she looks perfect in your pics ..

Everyone's dogs grow at different rates and they go through some real ugly duckiling stages before transfoming in to the swan that they are destined to be. My lad Indi was an ugly gangly looking pup with huge ears but now he is a very differnt dog indeed
