Re: How friendly is your dog?
Both get a bit over excited when strangers stroke them etc jumping up at what not lol but ive yet to meet a staff that doesnt jump up lol. They are both very friendly to people and dogs and cats. Kaos is less excited towards dogs and has better manners when greeting etc.

Dempsey doesn't always take to strangers straight away, and some he never does. He isn't agressive, but won't go to them for a fuss - he stands back.

When I first got Blue, the family who had him before battered him including the kids so he was a bit aggressive to most people who weren't part of his pack. He now looks at me for direction and has become allot calmer as the trust between us has increased.

Re: How friendly is your dog?
Cassie loves everyone she meets and so does Taz, but my sister and Brother think its funny and won't listen to me when it comes to Taz they keep winding him up, he's bit my brother twice nothing too seriouse but he drew blood and he goes for my sister when she makes a certain hand signal. must be something he's learnt from the past and she think its funny to keep on doing it. But since being neutered he has calmed down alot my brother has learnt his lesson and he's not too bad around my sister more exited than aggressive. but he does freak her out, cause he will sit staring at her to see i she'll make the hand signal if she laughs, or makes stupid noises he jumps on her not aggressively but i know it can lead to that if not kept under control she wound him up the other day, I told her to leave so hopefulyl she will learn her lesson. As for other dogs Cassie is really friendly and Taz is calming down alot his ridge still goes up but he doesn't react by yanking me towards the dogs. they love other animals they don't even go after wild birds because they also land down my allotments. They both adore my neices licks everywhere feet everywhere Taz especially loves my autistic neice he extra gentle with her as well.

Hehehe, Bandit's breeder told me that a staff will not only greet a burglar, but will gladly help him pack the bag!

Considering that mine are still little puppies they love everyone instantly. As soon as someone walks inside they get super duper excited, tails wag flat out and big grins on their little faces lol.
They also love our cat although she still isn't too sure

VERY friendly
Greets anyone and everyone with a wagging tail and warm eyes. And is especially gentle with our kitten, rabbits (actually, he avoids the rabbits) and children.

Re: How friendly is your dog?
most people marley is great with especially kids, but some strangers, usually teenage lads, he just stares at them no tail wag, and sometimes if they try to approach he'll let out a low growl, not a nasty growl just enough to keep them away from him

Re: How friendly is your dog?
Overly friendly. To the point, where people get fed up of him. I shouted at my niece and nephew tonight because Monty was 'in their face', which admitedly, he was, but they were smacking him and telling him to go away .. so I had to put the 'we couldn't keep you away from the house when he was a puppy and none of you could keep your hands off him, so stop being horrible to him!'. He just likes to be nosey, but he is still a little bit nippy, but, he is just a puppy.
When we are out for walks and he spots someone in the distance, he will stop and stare and his tail wagging 10 to the dozen ! He loves people and other dogs instantly, I think it's great, but people think it's too much.

Suki loves everything with a pulse. She is a bit wary of people in the house for the first 30 minutes or so unless she already knows them

Re: How friendly is your dog?
Tilly loves everyone , but generally when people go out for a country walk in their best clothes and show some interest when she is off lead, they generally wish they hadn't
If I see people early enough I can generally bribe her or distract her enough to keep away if she knows there is a treat in my hand but if she sees another dog less than 30-40ft away its playtime, and I have to run round like an idiot trying to catch her

I put 'takes time to warm up' only because he is a bit wary until they show him a friendly face - he won't bombard strangers and demand their love, he lets them make the first move most of the time.
with dogs - he picks and choses

Re: How friendly is your dog?
Chloe thinks every human was put on this planet simply to cuddle her. she gets excited when she sees people, but once shes had a stroke she calms down, unless its a child or a bloke, and then she wont leave them alone!
i am working on her becoming a bit less excitable around people, and trying to get her to learn that not every one wants to pet her!
