Hiccups

Post by KerryAnn on Tue Sep 20, 2011 2:38 am

This is probably a ridiculous question but it's been so long since we had a puppy so young (7 weeks) but - Do they get hiccups? Pups? Paddy seems to wake from his (many) snoozes and have a spell of the hiccups. We're worried it's not normal worried

billy used to hiccup a lot after a drink of water, i am sure it is normal, but if it happens regular and you are worried, maybe mention it to the vet the next time you go

Rocky used to wake in the mornings with hiccups, but he has not done it for a while. Maybe grew out of it.

As we speak (or type!) Vlad has just come inside and laid down... with the hiccups! He gets them every now and then... especially if he's excited. Apparently it's normal Big Grin
