Re: do you let your staffy sleep in your bed room
Blue sleeps in my room every night. He used to sleep in my bed but I've now got him sleeping next to me on his own bed.
Nothing wrong with this.....it is natural for a dog to sleep with it's pack.

thanks for the answers
she will be up in our room tonight
she has 3 beds so i will pop one in our room, i was thinking of doing it too because of the really cold weather we are having at the mo, and it will be much warmer for her in our room than in the kitchen

Re: do you let your staffy sleep in your bed room
I don't let Dempsey sleep with us cause he'd take up too much room.
Bandit used to, though. He'd start off just curled up tight between us, then once we were asleep he'd crawl under the duvet & then gradually stretch out till we were right at the edges of the bed & he had almost all of it in the middle!

Same as! Moo has her own bed next to mine, but after breakfast and mornings its up to bed with me, although she knows she can only come up if her "special blankets" cover
the bed! (Its a sheet btw!)

If roo is anything like Blue.....if it's too cold in the night you will wake up with the dog in bed with you.....and if you take up too much room in your bed and get above yourself, you might find the dog in your bed and you wake up on the floor

Re: do you let your staffy sleep in your bed room
Im sure we've disscused this before lol but heres my 2 pennies worth.....
My dogs although very much loved and a huge part of our family are very much treated as dogs and not children therefore thay are not even allowed upstairs let alone anywhere near our beds lol and are not allowed on our main living area sofas although are allowed on the sofa in the kichen. Its personall preference though if u want them in your bed then go 4 it but as has already been said start as u mean to go on as if will be a hard habit to berak if u decide in a years time it was a bad idea lol x

Re: do you let your staffy sleep in your bed room
Ruby has a fleecy blanket and she wont go to sleep unless i tuck her in all snug and warm! Sounds sad that i baby her but she lets me! And id prefer to do that than for her to be in a cold hard kennel outside open to the elements xxxxxx

Yep both mine do, doesn't leave much room for me though, can be painful after awhile as i have a bad back and keep having to change positions and there is usually one wherei need to lie.
Seany- i read your post wrong, i thought u had that your Mrs sniffs the duvet then pisses on it, then my brain worked and i realised u meant Kuma sorry my bad.

Miley sleeps in her bed in the living room or outside our door. If its really cold she sleeps in with us but never in our bed over nite. She gets in in the morning sometimes if im up for work and the mrs is still in bed but we had problems with her getting on the bed during the nite she has her own space and she loves her bed!

Re: do you let your staffy sleep in your bed room
Talking about beds... Its a bit off topic but thought I'd share... I was at work one day when Tess was about 18 months old and Joe was about 6 months old, got a phone call from hubby... saying the dogs were in our bed, "Whats wrong with that?" I said, he said, "No they are IN the bed"... We used to have a cheapo bed, which just had fabric on the sides covering the base, Tess has clawed her way through the fabric and both of them had snuck into the bedbase, having the time of their lives running about inside it !! Don't ya just love staffies!!!
