Depression

Post by Kenny86 on Thu Apr 20 2017, 21:06

Im off on deployment shortley for four months. My staffy is 2 and follows me every where. The longest i have spent away from him is 5 nights and my mrs said he was a pain at night running to the door eveytime he heard anything. Any ideas how to ensure he stays happy while im away.

Oh bless him. I'd say make sure he is exercised a lot and also if your wife can teach him some new tricks as that will mentally stimulate him too.

Just make sure he has lots to do while you are away so he has no time to get bored.

Hopefully the four months will go quickly for you all.

Yup, a tired dog is a good dog as they say. The mental stimulation advice is good too, it'll keep him occupied until things settle down.
