Hi All.

I hope I am posting in the right way. Just to say hi from Chris & Sharon not only new owners of Tara our approx 5 year old staffie/Labrador cross but new dog owners completely. She is a rescue or at least was as she is now part of the family. Neither of us knows much about dogs but we are learning as we go. What I can say that even though she has only been with us a few days I could not imagine being without her. She is such a great dog, gentle, peaceful and well behaved. Great fun when we play her favourite game tug of war and loves to sit with me on the sofa dozing and watching the darts!
I'm sure we will use the forum for advice and tips as we learn.

Staffies are well renowned for liking darts so you'll be in good company on the sofa Wink

Thanks. Google has been our friend so far but we will make use of the experience on here cheers. Must mention homeless hounds rescue and thier staff who have been great. Tara is sitting here with her head on my knee as I type this. I managed to get to 49 without ever having a pet but I have to say it's wonderful even the poop bagging!!! Smile

Ok... Put the Sherry down, poop bagging is never fun sick

What part of the country are you in as I don't think I've heard of homeless hounds. Staffies are great for getting you out for a good walk though you might struggle if it's raining so be warned Rolling Eyes
