Off lead dogs! Empty Off lead dogs!

Post by dizzy Tue Nov 15 2016, 11:54

Our Sunday morning walk was cut short by an off lead labrador running out from the park and attacking my on lead dog. I tried to keep the two dogs apart and managed to trip over and now have a double fracture of my ankle. I've had to have my ankle pinned and won't be able to put any weight on it for six weeks.
My poor Dodger will now have to go without his lovely long walks over the farm, all because the labs owner didn't see fit to put his dog on its lead!

Oh no, I hope you aren't in too much pain. It is so irresponsible of people not to be in control of their dogs, if they're gonna have them off lead then make sure they have decent recall at wits end

Oh that's awful, it really p's me off when people have no control of their dogs or care about the safety of others. Sorry to hear about your pain, is Dodger ok any injuries?

Luckily neither dog was hurt, but the owner of the lab didn't even apologise!

Ouch! Poor you! I'm sure Dodger will be fine for a few weeks with lots of games instead.

I'm lucky, my sons will walk him, just not for the distance that I do!
