extreme kong (black)

hiya, jus after some advice about kongs really, as there are many different sizes.
i am opting towards the extreme kong, (the black one) as Jemini seems to be a chewer lol.
the sizes are as follows:
Large: 11cm
X large: 13cm
XX large: 15cm
im not sure which 1 to get.

no i havent yet, but it shud be next week!! sooooooooooooooooo excited!!

they sed they can do it in her situation, jus tht it may be more risky coz the blood vessels may be closer to the surface, but they are willing to do it. its her 3rd week in season, so i should get her the end of nxt week

I got XL too Mazda liked the treats in it so much she ate the kong too

i may try the xxl 1, in a bit to stop her eatin the whole thing lol

Jethro has the extreme black kong... the only one that has lasted over the years. He doesn't play with it much now.. but when he was younger gave it hell! The only one worth getting for a staffy I reckon.

Roxy has a standard red kong, but does'nt really interest her much.

He seems to like these and they last him all week!!!!!

I like the Kongs. Nothing will last forever with a Staffy but I put a mush of cabbage, carrots, and sweet taters in the Kong before I leave Suki alone and still have most of my furniture intact.

hmmmmmmmmmmm i may jus go wiv the filled bones from pets at home thn as a boredom breaker for wen i go out, as she seems to b a big chewer.
have also been having problems finding toys suitable for her, but hav opted for a raw hide bone instead as at least these are made to be ripped up lol.

i started woody on the puppy kong and that lasted a good couple of months (too busy chewing everythim else in the house) then moved up a size and that went well for a bit too. we are now on the size below the black one and to be fair it is standing up well. although he does struggles to get the filling out of the end - no chewing of it yet -its in perfect condition.

what i tend to do is buy the cheap £2-3 toys that feel sturdy so i dont get cross when they are destoyed

Storm 'had' a black Kong.
along with all his other toys it didnt last too long.
i did write to the manufacturer and ask them what type of dog they tested them on lol. didnt get a reply.
not found a single toy as of yet that Storm cant destroy.

now to eliviate the expence of toys and to keep them both entertained, i bring home the large plant pots from work. will upload a video soon of him playing with it.

I tried Dempsey with the black kong, but he just sat down & began to chew it! If I'd left it with him he'd have eaten it.

Jake's been playing with the red kong for 2 days solid now, it's surprising it's lasted this long. He does seem to prefer rolling it around so it comes back to him though, so hopefully this should double it's life span.

Like Mick above, Jethro LOVES running around with an empty plastic flower pot.... only trouble is once he stops and decides to start chewing it, I have to take it off him.. but I have a good supply on hand !

Ty had a large black one for about 6 months untill he ripped it to shreads this weekend it did last him longer than I though though and he really enjoys playing with it so I will be going to buy another but this time I think I will go for the xlarge see how he gets on with that.
