Going to start letting younger cat outside cause its obvious she wants too. Before i lived in top floor flat in busy town. Now i live in a small village with big garden. Older cat is rescued indoor cat she has shown no desire to go out.
Wasn't going to at first but i can tell she wants out, she has sneaked out a couple times had a sniff about and came back in so i am just going to let her do it in her own time and if she wants to go further she can.
Going to worry the first few times but .......... suppose its the same for every cat owner when the time comes.

she was in the sun for 10 mins and went back in the house

Aww bless her, I guess it's going to take some time before she has the confidence to go and explore.
