Help needed finding a puppy

Hi all please forgive me if this is posted in the wrong forum,was wandering if anyone could help,my family(wife and 3 children are looking to purchase a Staffordshire bull terrier,we have been looking for a long long time to find a short legged Stafford as that's the sort we prefer,I have seen several litters and the parents are much taller than I want,I know the breed standard is 14 to 16 inches,I guess I'm looking for the shorter end of the breed standard,some of the breeders i have seen litters at,are what you would call back yard breeders,I turned round and walked back out,I live in Dudley West Midlands does anyone know of a reputable Stafford breeder who breeds the shorter type Stafford around West Midlands,we are not overly fussed about colour of the dog we just want a nice well bred short stafford although my wife says she would like a girl Stafford,we are a middle aged family and the kids are 15 12 and 9 so not babies anymore,we have a large fully fenced in garden and we have saved hard to get the right dog to join us as a family,I'm willing to pay a very good price for a short legged kc reg girl Stafford,,anyone help out there,,I've been on champ dogs pets 4 homes and loads of others,but no litters around my area,pets 4 homes seem to have a lot of backyard breeders,and nearly every Stafford on there is blue,which we don't mind but everyone seems to be jumping on the blue bandwagon,,thanks for reading

Make sure the parents are health tested.

i got mine sunday i looked at loads too in the end i went to manchester 3 hour drive for my pup he had to girls and a boy left pure blue full peddigree father is blue bouncer and mother is a well known champion back round too the breader was very nice lovly house in country side wasnt pushy and new everything about staffs and answered every question i asked him if u would like his number let me no adam

You might have to travel. Our pup came from Hull, she was one of five. Two stayed local, ours up to Sunderland, one to Somerset and one to Denmark!
