What size Dog Door

Hi there.
We are due to get our Staffy Puppy in Early August and are getting ourselves prepared for him. We want to install a dog door, but are unsure what size to get. Our boys dad Rumble is quite tall 16 3/4" to his shoulder so was wonder if anyone can help by telling us what size they have for their Dogs. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the welcome. We are new owners to be, as well as new to these forums, so we are in for a very steep learning curve. Good to have such a far reached and deep pool of knowledge at my disposal from this website tho. And If anyone else out there does use a dog door, would be very interested to hear the shoulder height of your dog and the size of the door flap you/he/she use's ( You obviously would not use it as its a dog door ). Also your thoughts on how well it fits them. i.e: if they struggle to get through or if its far to large and could have been smaller. Thanks Again

Staffies are classed as medium dogs but then you can get little staffies and huge staffies too. I would take a measurement of mum and dad, and try to get a rough guess of how big pup will be from that.
