Hi I have two staffs both of which I want to change their diet from over the counter to home cooked . I've been experimenting with a few recopies ,,basically chicken rice peas etc. and both dogs love it .obviously to change over completely I need to provide them with a balanced diet and was wondering about portion size etc. ,also one has epilepsy and have heard that an Holistic approach can ease symptoms can anyone offer any advice or the tiles of any good books please

Sorry it's not something I'm familiar with, Darcy is raw fed.

Maybe Ella, our resident dog foodie, knows. I personally don't have experience with this but I do feed raw and diet does have a lot to do with health!

Edit: I moved this to a more appropriate place for your question.

I know the basics of homecooking, but i feed raw which IS a hell of a lot easier then cooking.

You do need to make sure that the caluim: phosphorus ratio is balanced, and that normally supplementing with a Ca and Ph powder.
