dogs allowed on beaches? (bridlington)

does anybody know when you are allowed, wht time of year, dogs are allowed and coast/ beachs? wer are thinking about going to bridlington in july, can the dogs go on the beach and off the lead at this time off year?

I don't know about bridlington but we take harvey to the beach at mablethorpe and they allow dogs on the beach off lead all year aslong as your not on the part of the beach right in front of the shops

We live in somerset and most of our local beaches have a area or certain strech where dogs are fine all the time and the main areas dogs are allowed between october and april x

at our beech no dogs alowed between may to october even if there on lead Crying or Very sad memphis is gutted lol

wow, after reading these posts ii was wondering, i'v never had any problem on any beach up here as in saying that dogs have to be on lead etc, i think my selective hearing and sight must kick in, its an automatic reaction lol. GL and hope your ok in Bridlington!! xxx

At our beach there are no dogs from dawn till dusk from May 30th till September 5th (Memorial Day till Labor Day). The rest of the time you can have your dog either on or off leash. It's a great beach, only one entrance which is 5 feet wide and easy to watch.

Our cloesest beach is barry and dogs are not allowed on there even on leashs until september and october
