Chubby dog!

The vets have told me mimi needs to lose weight, she's 21kg and they want her down to 19kg. Has anyone any tips and what's a good food for her to be eating? She's on wainwrights grain free at the moment, the grain ones give her bad guts and she has a good 20 minute run on the field every day and goes for a long walk 3 times a week.  

I'd leave her food if she's having the recommended daily amount, you need to up her excersise, a dog Mimi's age should be having at least 2/3 45+mins walks per day. Can you post a pic Emma so we can see her? Because they all come in different shapes and sizes

I agree, please try to up the amount of exercise if you can. Rocky has an hour 15 mins in the morning then another hour in the afternoon and he has lost some weight recently. We also feed Barking Heads Grain free and Barking Heads Fat Dog Slim mixed together.

Yes more exercise, Vin has an hour in the morning, and an hour at night. Or 3 x 45 mins.  

She needs a lot more exercise.

Mine get an hour in the morning
45 mins at lunch
and an hour+ in the evening
