What kind of collar does your dog wear?

None of above all of mine got a padded neoprene collar with buckle from the PDSA I got Blondy a new one yesterday.

At the moment. Blue just has a normal padded material collar and matching lead with a pull buckle

Saxon has a Lupine Pets brand Step in Harness for walking and regular Adjustable Collar for his tags.

Ty has a half Check Collar as well Caryll a normal studed one and a couple of harneses but I mainly use the check on him.

Hollie has a quick release collar but also has a harness, I have to pin her back to me to put the harness on cos she's so giddy knowing she's going out for walkies...

By metal show collar do you mean the leather ones with the metal stud type things on them?

My girls usually wear thick leather collars with a shortish lead, I like the collar to be spread over the neck and not digging in in one place.

Prince has one of those brown leather staffy harnesses with the brass staffy head and knot. Its what his previous owner was using.
I'll be getting him a normal collar at some point with a tag on and I'll be getting him measured up for a x-back harness soon

Normal Collar, Half check, Harness, Leather Collar and a head Collar All get used.

Just got a new Ezydog collar and Harness.

Harness is only for attaching to car seatbelt and for when on long training lead though.

Use a halti for walking when on lead.

Romeo has a brass and black studded staffy collar, a choke chain i keep his tag on (I call it his geezer chain), a silver and black studded collar with metal skulls on with a matching silver and black chain lead, and a brass and black leather staffy harness with matching black and brass lead that matches the afformentioned staffy collar.
I've ordered him a nylon spiderman dog collar (I'm a bit of a comic book fan-alas the batman one was sold out) and i'm planning to get him a new harness. A very nice burgandy leather and brass one has caught my eye, but of course it'll have to have a matching lead!
When he was younger he used to wear an ezydog red harness, red suits him, it still fits him infact but its VERY unflattering on now, haha it pushes up all the loose skin on his back and gives him rolls! I also don't like the way the buckles slid down and bang his shoulder in it as well.
I think he looks best in his leather harness although my mum says he looks like hes going to join the YMCA.

well, our Bundy wears a harness when we're walking. When I go to work, I put his collar with the rego tag on him but other than that, he doesn't wear one. We tried several different kinds of collar but they all eventually irritated the skin on his throat which he would then scratch until it bled and developed into sores. So we gave up. I don't consider it a problem because, when we're home, he's with either me or OH constantly.
Has anybody else had a similiar problem?

Violet just has a wee webbing collar with a plastic clip in fastening. She used to have a collar with a buckle on it, but she's an escape artist and figured out how to undo the buckle! She has a webbing harness, and we also put a safety link between that and her collar, just incase she manages to escape again
