Kurgo Empty Kurgo

Post by otisthestafford on Sun Jun 09 2013, 01:06

Just bought a kurgo wander hammock from PAH today- cannot wait to put it in the car so that my back seats aren't getting hammered any more- not that I mind but I do like to take care of my car Smile
I think it's a good idea at it covers the footwell so he will have more room to stretch out and that risk of him falling off the seat is eliminated!! Anyone else used kurgo products?

I did use a hammock in my car before but only bought from Wilko , I still used harnesses and restraints for travelling though , the main advantage for me was to keep the seats clean. Unfortunately due to its cheaper quality the edge split where it fixes round the front head restraints so became useless, and have I noticed a massive difference on the hair deposits on the seats , every weekend using gaffa tape to remove the pet hairs Sad

Let us know how it lives ip to a few weeks use and maybe think about buying one as I'm getting a new car shortly

What kind of car have you got ?? I found one of the probs with mine (2009 Mondeo estate) was it didn't fully cover the back seat and a inch or 2 sticking out either side ( fine with the doors shut) so tucked a picnic blanket into 1 side and left it hanging to try and stop the plastic and the seat getting mucky as they jumped in and out and only use 1 door (on that side) when getting the kids in and out

This one looks like a good option Ella given the problems I had

How do you think the size will work though will it be width or length (down the seat forward on the cush and up the back of the front seats) medium is 53" but they don't seem to have a large option

You measure the width of your seats from door to door if that makes sense.

The large one is out of stock but you may be able to get them from elsewhere

I have a VW Polo 2010 model.
there is two D rings one on either side which you can feed a strap though under the seats (not included) to hold the hammock down to prevent it lifting when the dog gets in or out.

I'll let you know how I get on with it.

The hatchbag looks very good too, love the fact you can get in different sizes Smile

Hello, I have some random brand from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0010EI3EA/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have found it useful for keeping mud off seats but most importantly preventing Rupert from falling down the foot hole.

I have a Honda Jazz (small car) and the car seat cover fits but I wouldn't say it's very adaptable. The carabiner version above looks better made and thought out.
