Hi, has anyone bought these yet? They seem to have mixed reviews. The aligator seems to have faired better than captian kurklops but a lot of money if they are not going to last.

I invested in one of them 'eXtream' toys which was made up of the same stuff. He shredded it this morning.

I'd reccomend the grubba interactive ball:
http://www.easyanimal.co.uk/grubber-interactive-ball.html

Its quite heavy and after a tug-of-war session this morning, theres not one mark on it.

Youll be lucky to find a fabric toy that a staffy wont destroy!!

our 2 would certainly demolish them in minutes. They have chewed up a boomer ball and they are meant to be tough Smile

Densil had the grubba ball - took him a couple of minutes to start biting the knobbly bits off so had to take it away.

I got this for Rupert but it wasn't a hit:

http://www.amazon.com/Tuffys-Ultimate-Bowmerang-Camo-Blue/dp/B000OWIXHG

He likes things he can chew and destroy or else chew in a bouncy ball way (i.e. Staffy equivalent of Orbit).

for throwing, I use balls or an Aerobie I found in the park:

www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Dtoys&field-keywords=aerobie&sprefix=aerobi%2Ctoys&rh=i%3Atoys%2Ck%3Aaerobie

I can throw it really far and when Rupes retrieves it he wears it as a necklace.

For tugging, I plait long strips of leftover fleece blankets and knot at either end:

http://www.hgtv.com/handmade/how-to-weave-a-fleece-rope-dog-toy/index.html

Hope that helps.
