Igloo Empty Igloo

Post by Ticklymac on Mon Nov 19 2012, 23:19

I really want to get Diesel an igloo bed cause it think she would love the cosyness of it, as she's always snuggling under the duvet, under my snuggy or hiding under the throws on my couch, and i think she'd like her own wee den, but the only ones i can find are made for handbag dogs!
I did find these on ebay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LUXURY-DOG-PET-IGLOO-BED-DESIGNER-FAUX-LEATHER-SHERPA-FUR-/121014360398?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Dogs&var=420102652670&hash=item1c2d04994e

but well as much i love Diesel they'r a bit dear especially since she might not even like it or might destroy it!

(i'm in no way more tempted by these cause its a staffy in the bed, honest lol)

I had a look at these in the past too, they look great and I think Zeus would like it for the same reasons that Diesel would.. but.. he'd probably destroy it if we left him alone in it lol

Oaft tell me about it i stupidly bought a brand new leather massive corner sofa not long after we got Diesel and its never really seen the light of day as its constantly covered in throws cause she tends to have burn outs running from one end to the other!!

So what am taking from everyones comments are that this cute little cosy igloo would be well worth the money ay? And that it is more than justifable to buy one for my furry baby? An am not a crazy woman who spends too much money on her dog, like ma oh would like to imply lol Big Grin

ah see this is my worry! She's only ever destroyed 2beds, 1 was my fault bought a cheap dog bed cover off ebay and stuffed it with a duvet...washed the cover one day and zip burst so duvet was sticking out - how could she resist??? And the one after that either got destroyed days later cause she realised she could destroy beds or because i left her a bit longer than usual during the day confused
but ever since she's been fin and that was....months and months ago...5/6months probs so she was Destructo the teenage mad woman(b*tch) then!

They look so comfy. Cant you do what I do instead, and cheaper  Big Grin
I brought a plastic bed for not long ago put some soft matting in, and when she goes to bed, I tuck her in with a quilt over the top, and tuck the sides in over the outside, so as such its like a tent cover over her, she can peep out to check on us and its lovely and warm inside. You can buy a quilt for £5 double it up to keep it extra warm. However our staffies are worth buying anything for  Big Grin

I've tried everything to keep Chico of the bed! Cozy beds, even made his crate all snuggly with a blanket over the top and covering the sides with the inside all cosy. But as soon as I'm sleeping he's right under the duvet with me lol

Nico likes his igloo now, was unsure of it at first but he won't sleep in it, likes to sit in it during the day so it's in our sitting room instead, his big bed and blanket are in our bedroom.
