chloe 19 and a half

Post by lolalollypop on Fri Jan 14, 2011 11:17 pm

been wanting to do this since i jioned but havnt been brave enough its still a realy sad time for us as we only had her put to sleep 2 weeks ago.thats why we got lola.
jade got chloe long before i met her from northwest staffie rescue when chloe was five. she had been used as a breeding machine and kept in a celler.
her paws where burnt from bleach the owners used to chuck down to clean the mess.
for fourteen years she lived with jade and grew up with olliver who is now 14.
she taught esme all the good things like recall and how to play withe kids without hurting them.
4 years ago chloe developed cancer and had 3 tumors on her stomach but she faught it to the end .
just before christmas we took her for a examination and they wanted to put her to sleep there and hen but we couldnt let go so brought her home till she started showing sighns of pain
the hardest thing i have ever had to do was sta with her as she went to sleep
sorry if ive depressed everyone it wasnt ment too

r.i.p. chloe[img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]

p.s. the horse on the bed with chloe is my friends dane we looked after when they went away

Lump in the throat.

You made Chloe's life amazing. And thats never to be forgotten. She's free now, although that doesn't ease the pain.

Esme will always have a part of Chloe, thats the fantastic thing. And she looks stunning.

Gone but never forgotten and will live through your other babes.

Nearly 20 years old - that's a fantastic age, you must have really looked after her well.

RIP Chloe. What a fantastic age to live til. You obviously looked after her very very well. So sorry you had to lose her but at least you have the satisfaction of knowing that her last 14 years of life were happy ones because of your family. Lola and Esme are very lucky to have youx

Im sorry for your loss. At least you gave her a much better life than living in a cellar though, she must have been happy to hold on untill nearly 20 years old! I'm sure she must have been happy to go though and as others have said she will live through the lessons she taught your other dogs and children. RIP baby girl xxx
