Has anyone ever tried one of these before?
What do you think of them?

They're much cheaper on eBay so ignore the price on that website.

I've got one. They're quite good as long as you don't want to take too much off. For just keeping short nails in trim they're great cause they can round them off (less sharp when they slam their paws into your arms, legs & wherever else they can reach!).

Great, thats exactly what I want it for.. Zeus's nails are too long and sharp at the moment, it feels like hes about to cut me everytime he jumps up on me! Thanks, Caryll.

If I were you, I'd use a clipper to shorten them & then use a pedi paws to smooth them over.

I'm just afraid of cutting them too short, I've heard some horrible stories!

If you cut them too short, he'll yelp & they'll bleed a bit. But he won't bleed to death! All you'd need to do is make sure you keep them clean - they heal over in about 24 hours!

Either that, or ask your veterinary nurse just to get them to a reasonable length & then take over with the pedu paws yourself.

I dont think Rocky could sit still long enough for me to do his nails with that Laughing

He goes to the groomer every 2-3 months and gets pampered by ladies, he is in heaven Big Grin

I bought one and my two are scared of it

If you cut the nails too short put ground black pepper on the end as it stops the bleeding ( we used to put it on the pit bull tails when they knocked them in the kennels)
