Diesel - 3 year old SBT - Perfect family dog HOMED
Meet Diesel! A beautiful 3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a loving family home where he can get good regular exercise.
Diesel came into us with Stella (5 year old GSD cross Collie who has recently been homed) as the housing association his family live with have changed their rules and forced them to re-home Diesel and Stella. Diesel has been with the same family his whole life and been very much loved.

Diesel is a sensitive, loving boy and adores being with people. He has been brought up around children and is very much a "nanny dog" but he'd prefer to live with older children only as he's best off in a calm environment.
Diesel has also been brought up around another dog and would be happy to live with an older, calm dog as he finds young, bouncy dogs a little overwhelming.
He likes to chase cats so would be best in a cat-free home.
He enjoys travelling in the car in his crate but will cry if he can't see you. His fosterer is currently working on his crate training and this is coming along well but will need continuing in his forever home with time and patience.
He can be quite vocal but does not have a single bad bone in his body and his fosterer describes him as "a real gentlemen"!
This lovely boy will make an incredibly loyal and loving family pet. Diesel needs a home where someone is home most of the day as he is happiest when he is with his people, giving you cuddles or keeping your toes warm! He is of a very active breed so will need good, regular exercise.

Diesel is currently on foster in Bicester, Oxfordshire but we home across the UK. Diesel has been vaccinated, micro chipped and castrated.
If you're interested in adopting Diesel, please read our adoption guidelines and procedure;

I think it's just disgraceful that these social housing associations can just change their minds on the rules as they like. OK fair enough if there have been complaints about noise or whatever but for no reason it's just not on.
Could the family not dispute the ruling? It makes me so mad

We agree with you. Seems another neighbours dogs were the ones causing problems and now they all have to give up their dogs. We have already rehomed their other dog. If the Housing Association had said no more dogs when these have gone, fine but to make people give up pets that are not causing issues is barbaric.
Unfortunately the family tried everything and were left with no other option

Diesel is settling well in his foster home and proving himself to be a truly lovely dog. He enjoyed a nice long walk around a nature reserve today and had a great time swimming in the river! He has also been showing off his fantastic skills at fetch, recall and his basic commands - he is a clever pooch
Diesel even ignored his fosterers cat today and slept on the bed next to her so his fosterer feels he could live with a confident, dog-savvy cat. Here are some more photos of this very handsome chap!
