I am sure you would cope ok..... it is very hard to make decisions here tho.

Should I swim... should I hang out the washing????.. have lunch at the beach that sort of thing.
but you get used to it

Didn't seem to me as the dog enjoyed it much & was looking to get out of it ASAP...?

I'm considering this breed, but might prefer a breed that might enjoy a swim..

In general do these dogs like swimming much?
I know i cant base this on one video.

A puppy of any breed will probably be nervous in the water the first couple of times. As long as you slowly introduce your pup to the water with pleasant experiences, s/he should be fine with the water. My Stafford, Saxon, doesn't really know how to swim because he hasn't had experiences swimming, but loves playing in the water at the beach. Every dog is an individual when it becomes to water preference. I have a friend with a Tolling Retriever who is afraid of the water! There are no guarantees when it comes to dogs, even dogs bred to love water!
