I suppose I shouldn't have answered this one cause Dempsey isn't a staff. But you can't get much thicker - he still thinks the garden gate opens outwards.

Suki is very smart. We have to keep finding new ways to hide food to keep it safe

Cheers folks.
I'll have to find the pic of him in his Merlin the Wizard costume at Halloween.
He loved it because of all the attention it got him in the street.

Re: How smart is your staffie?
Buster picks up training very quickly and responds to most of it perfectly, but he can't seem to get the hang of simple tricks, like paw, etc. that I have tried to do with him. My last staffy had picked up sit, stay, lie, bow, paw, wave, speak, beg, and a few others by the time he was 12 weeks. I'm not sure if getting Buster when he was slightly older makes much difference to that? Still, he learns what he needs to quick enough, the other things are more for the kids anyway.

Re: How smart is your staffie?
I think my little girl is quite clever, she knows when something isn't shut properly, like she'll nudge her crate door if it's out locked at the top and not top and bottom!
She also never forgets anything, ever!
