Is Eukanuba good food for puppy?

Hi
What do you thing about that brand? I've read lots off bad reviews about it and some good. And is expensiveThat's what the breeder fed my Debo. What would you recommend for a puppy?

I feed raw, so I'm not really the one to comment! But I've not heard very good reviews of Eukanuba - it seems to be vastly over priced for a start.

I feed fish4dogs and rate it

Rate it also, I switched from Royal Canine (vetenery diet, had huge probs with diareah when I got her) onto JWB but the fish one. which helped so much.

Her poo was still loose though so I swapped to Fish4Dogs and now its 100% firm and she loves it

Taken a couple of years to find one that suits though Xx

Hi there. I feed Molly, 5 months, JWB turkey and rice puppy and she loves it and does well on it! Its slightly cheaper than Eukanuba I think. Molly also gets some of our leftovers which she prefers but her main diet is JWB!

I've just ordered trial of Pero,will see. Do you thing food can make him more hyper and he's pooing a lot

Ahhhh I think little Debo is gorgeous and I'm sure he will grow up to be a very handsome boy.

when i got zeus, he was on royal canin medium junior but he seemed to hate it. most of the time he wouldn't eat it and i'd spend atleast half an hour trying to get him to eat some. but i moved him slowly onto wainwrights dry food and he loves it. i mix half of wainwrights wet food tray and half wainwrights dry food and he gobbles it down in a few minutes!

Is the same with eukanuba,I have to make him to eat it

I don't think Eukanuba is a particularly good food, in fact it put it into the 'low quality' group. Although it has a fairly decent meat content, it has maize and wheat in it as well as rice.

Pero SBT looks a little better than the Eukanuba but the 2nd ingredient is still maize. For a similar daily feeding cost, you'd be much better off with something like Simpsons Premium or Arden Grange or for the best budget food, Skinners.
