I'm glad I got Dempsey insured. Had I just saved money each month I'd be so out of pocket by now! He's not yet 3 years old & we've already claimed over £5000 from the insurance company.

That's the thing with insurance, though. You always hope you'll never need it, and maybe you won't. But if you suddenly get a veterinary crisis then it's a comforting thing to have.

I use Sainsburys & have never had a problem with them.

the one thing you need to do when choosing insurance is to check out the clauses what is covered what isnt and also the excess price.

I always advise people to have pet insurance. The premiums aren't too high and vet bills can become expensive if there is a serious issue.

Everyone is different. I don't insure and never have but i have only needed to take her to the vets once (bar from spaying and stuff) and in that case i was told she needed no treatment. Insurance would be wasted on me i feel.
