Totally agree, poor animals, hope she gets what she deserves...

If I had my way she would be locked in a wardrobe till she starved to death. Judging by the size of her it might take a few weeks.
The poor dogs..the fact that they died curled up next to each other made a lump rise in my throat.

She will probably get a ban from keeping dogs in here life, not that it will ever be checked and probably 1 weeks suspended sentence!.... Just cruel. I agree with the above lock her in a wardrobe.

After reading the newpapaer report it says that she may recieve a prison sentance. What do they mean by MAY RECEIVE she must be facing time inside surely.

She looks Pregnant which is why they probably said MAY.... what ever that woman's condition the photos of the desperately bitten food tins has made me feel physically sick. I cannot fathom how anyone, let alone a mother, could do this to another living creature

another sad part of all this is the comfort and solace she could have found in those dogs. dogs are great therapy when given the chance and maybe could have helped her cope. instead, she starved them

Excuse me...what is with the MAY BE SENTENCED.....she better be, bet if it had been a person she would of already been sentenced. The courts need to start handing out proper punishment to those that torture animals not just fines and being banned from owning animals (which is never enforced)

As for stuffing from depression & doesn't remember the last 2 months...what a load of bull! She's just another in a long line of people who just want that feeling of power by inflecting harm/torture on some living thing that either cannot or does not defend it's self.

I see that this news article was not displayed over the front of all the papers but I bet if it had been the other way around & the dogs had attacked her it would of been.

As far as I can see this story just goes to show that Staffies are big softies at heart and not the 'Devil Dogs' like the mass media likes to portray them as nether of the dogs attacked each other or tried to eat/kill the cats going by the article they just cuddled up together and starved to death!

Would love to spend a few minutes in a room alone with her and others like her

i agree that depression doesn't justify what she did. i still say her dogs could have helped her through the depression, if that's what it was. no excuse for what she did.

I have to admit I didn't look at it .. I am still haunted by the adorable Patrick the pit bull's photos of when he was starved to nothing more than a skeleton and thrown away in a garbage bag....how that darling survived I will never know..

... I just don't feel like crying at the moment , but as for for my views on anyone that does this sort of thing..a bullet is too good for them!!

I know Vanessa, I often think about Patrick even now. It is very difficult to sometimes get those images out of your head.

I do hope he found a loving forever home.

i suppose depression can effect people in different ways but iv no doubt memphis has always kept my head above water and seemed to make life that much better.
but i find it verry difficult to believe she could lose 2 months of her mind as ask any one that knows about depresion you have up days and down days .
so to me the case is just about lazy neglect

i agree completely, Warren. i've dealt with bi-polar disorder all my life. at the end of the day, she's still resposible for what she did, whatever her issues
