Do you mean in a zoo or in person? In reality they are very aggressive and territorial. In the zoo they are some of the best to watch!

That is very cute!

I saw a polar at edinburgh zoo, she is a very sorry site, stuck in a very small cage and spends the whole time pacing. The tigers there are exactly the same, it's horrible! Hopefully it has changed now as this is going back 4 years now!

I remember going to London Zoo when I was only about 6 or 7 years old. All the animals were in small cages & it left a lasting impression on me, so much so that I didn't go back for many years. However, my kids wanted to go to the zoo & so I took them about 7 years ago. Wow, had it changed! The animals were all in large enclosures with plenty of room to move about, and with the company of their own species. They looked so much happier & healthier.

I still hate Zoo's, an animal shouldn't be kept in a cage, however large. I no everyone will argue about species becoming extinct and to learn more about the breed. Surely if you watch documentrys like 'Frozen planet' you can learn but not keep them in a cage.

I also get about animals being born into captivity, but I also feel these animals miss out on something. I don't no suppose I can't get why these stunning creatures are a public amusment. Just my opinion.

Theres the wine speaking lol, drinks with the neigbours earlier Xx

I know what you mean, and I don't like them much. BUT many species of wild animal has been saved from extinction and re-introduced to the wild by breeding in zoos. Nowadays most of the animals are in very large enclosures that, as far as possible, mimic their natural environment so they're nowhere near as bad as they once were.
