Been to Foredowne Kennels

went to Foredowne Kennels today, which seems to be a predominantly staffie kennels/rescue centre, to look at maybe getting a friend for stanley and we found a gorgeous boy approx 18 months old called COLT sadly we didnt take any pictures.

upon getting there the staff couldnt have been anymore helpful and let us view every dog/bitch we asked which was 2 boys and 2 girls and we found out that stanley doesnt seem to get on well with girls at all so thats out of the question lolz and one of the dogs was a little bit too nasty towards stanley as he snarled and growled at him as soon as he seen him so that was an automatic NO. The next dog we looked at was COLT a lovely black, white and a slight hint of brindle showing through very very slight. we were asked if we wanted to take him out for a little walk to a enclosed area on the premises so we gladly obliged. we let colt off and he was off like a bullet i shouted him back and he jumped onto me with so much force i nearly fell over lolz........................ now for the big test we let stanley off the lead and waited for the fighting and thankfully it didnt happen they played soooooooo well. Sadly after about half an hour it was about time we went and took COLT back. so fingers crossed it has gone well so far

we are taking the kids there tomorrow to have a look and see how colt gets on with them and then if all goes well we will have a little friend for stanley by tomorrow afternoon in which time we will add pictures etc.

we got there and took the kids out with colt and sadly they didnt like him at all...............................................................................................ONLY KIDDING they LOVED him and he loved them so we now have ourselves another little boy called Colt Aaron Elder
