any advice for introducing new puppy to staffy?

Hi guys,

Stellar (English Staff) is now 12 months old and we have decided to get a puppy to add to the family. We decided on a labrador this time round for alot of reasons but mostly because theyre great with kids and have similar play styles to staffs so hoping they will enjoy each others company.
Stellar is pretty well trained for her age, but is also quite dominant and intense so have chosen a puppy from a litter who appears to be quite laid back and happy to follow the crowd.(the lab breed is also considered pretty laid back, yet playful) We will pick him up in 2 weeks at 8wks of age.
Am a bit concerned about them not getting along despite the fact that stellar is very well socialised with other dogs and goes to the dog park and plays with other dogs off lead regularly. Have researched alot of stuff about introducing puppies to older dogs but was wondering if anyone had any advice regarding staffies in particular. Not sure how she will be with a puppy or with another dog on her own turf. You see so many dogs up for sale because they dont get along with other dogs i want to make sure i do everything right at the beginning.
