staffy apperance

Post by cole on Mon Apr 28, 2008 8:36 pm

Hello I'm a new member just a quick question,I have a 6 month old staff girl and up until a month ago both her ears were pricked now one of them has dropped but the other one is still pricked.I love her to bits but she looks really funny lol!Just wondered if anyone knew if the other one would drop and when, her mum and dad had "normal" staff ears and so have her brothers and sisters shes the odd one out. They are quite big ears aswell and all the pictures I've seen with staffs with pricked ears they look quite small.I'm not ashamed of the way she looks I think its quite unique was just curious to see if anyone has any knowledge of ears lol! Smile

Hi Cole, my old boy used to put one up one down when he was excited about something or listening. Normally they would both be rosed.
I'll try and scan a photo of him for you to see.
Her ears may right themselves as shes only 6mths, but if not who cares, you love her and she loves you as i loved my old boy Love

ears can go haywire when puppies are teething.

ideally ears should be rose or half pricked
