Horrific Cruelty Case *graphic pic warning*

This is REALLY bad. I will post about it some more when I have recovered myself. I couldn't even look at her closely at first and THAT says alot. The whole injury is days old and rotten, the smell was appalling. Her skin is ripped all the way back to her neck and exposes the jaw bone totally. She is now at the vets and Tori my vet is trying her best to save her, she has multiple injuries but the jaw is the worst.... Please say a prayer for this girl... :mecry: :mecry: She has her mouth closed in that pic, what you see is the flap of skin hanging down/ She is an ickle Staffie bitch and not a young one either... It doesn't happen very often but I broke down crying in my car after I had delivered her to the vet.

I have been working on this case for two days and went there late last night which is why I wasn't online. I finally managed to get her today. I can't say much more than that at present as this is the WWW but her injuries were caused by dogfighting.

That is absolutely pathetic. The people responsible for this deserve worse.

This and worse is what I deal with in the past 10 years since I came to Ireland started EGAR. It makes me SO sick and it really really is starting to affect my sanity...

Some really sick ppl in the world

There has been an update from my vet. I will have to take Berni to Galway City to the ARK Vet Clinic (they have lots of specialists there one of which saved Parci the GD pup). Apparently, the injury will need specialist help . I am posting more about this tomorrow when I have a clearer picture. That also means that I need to step up the fundraising. Parci OP for example was over 1000 Euro .

Berni is doing very well and is eating and grateful for ANY attention shown to her, be it only to stick a needle in her .

I wont be keeping her but I WILL try to rehome her to the UK as she would be damned to a life with a muzzle here (restricted Breeds Act) and I wont be doing that to her. No way.
