Becky, Staffie, 2 years old

Her Story: Becky was found stray in West London about 4 miles from her home. She was micro-chipped so her owners were contacted and arrived at the vets to basically turn around and say they didn't want her anymore. She was great with the grandchildren and warm affectionate dog but they didn't have time for her.
Salient points: Slender happy Staffie newly spayed. People and child friendly. Hasn't been socialised with dogs. Clean and non destructive.
Advert: Becky found her way as a stray into a vets. Her family didn't want her back so she was spayed and bought into our care. She is young and so lovely. She isn't too bouncy; she isn't destructive; she is housetrained and affectionate. She can be left but happier to be integral to a family and its activities. Becky will need a secure garden and pleasant walks nearby. She isn't reactive to dogs but needs time to settle with them as her walks were few and far between.
Becky is lovely and copes with her kennelled existence well currently. She is very appealing and very pleased to have affection and to return it in abundance. Becky isn't a stocky Staffie and has a light frame and muscular which helps the public to accept her as the press have wrong educated them towards 'Staffie phobia'. Becky will win over doggie friends and enjoy her family given the opportunity of a fresh start; a new beginning.

OMG how can people just say they don't want her, they should be fined or shot at dawn IMO. Lets hope she gets the home she deserves this time. She is beautiful, really beautiful.

Re: Becky, Staffie, 2 years old
Becky isn't doing well in kennels. The tip of her tail is red and sore and she has a scab 1" down from the tip. Her fur is dull and she is thin. She had a lovely time in the paddock though focused on waiting by the gate if allowed .. flowed into her walk well. She kept repeatedly shaking herself..so we have mentioned this to they kennel owner and she will watch out. We have removed the harness she had on, just in case this was uncomfortable. Oh this girl needs her forever home ... like N O W!

Re: Becky, Staffie, 2 years old
...and I wish I could give it to her, she is such a beautiful girl. I really wish I could take on another but two is enough for now and Chloe really needs some calm in her latter years.
If I only had the one I would have her in a shot. That said I do have an 18yr old cat who currently rules the household

Hi there
Thank you for posting. Becky has not been tried and tested with other dogs so she probably would not suit your home as I believe you have two other dogs? As far as children are concerned, we would not put a dog in a home with children under the age of 2. If your children are older we would very much welcome a completed foster questionnaire so that we could try and match a dog friendly/child proven & tested dog for you. Our foster form is on our website.
Thanks once again for your offer and hope to receive your form shortly.
Best wishes
Sharon
