Attention South East Dog Rescue

Post by Maistaff on Sun 18 Oct 2009, 19:34

Hello There

Do you know of any rescues that will take on "type" dogs in the Northamptonshire area.

Today i looked at a lovely young dog (18months) for Stafford Rescue but unfortunatly he is not a Stafford and as Breed rescue is just that they are unable to help.

This dog is amazing and in need of a home ASAP as the lady of the home is not as confident handling him as his owner and as a result he is quite dominant over her.

But that said he had an amazing temperament, was great with the children in the house, has attened training schools, micro chipped and up to date with Vacs etc .

If you are able to help please can you respond to this thread

Many thanks

Julie

Thats ok

I understand

I managed to find him a Foster home with someoen who is willing to look after him and find him a suitable forever home.

I am collecting the young lad on Sunday and driving him to South Mimms for a hand over to his new foster family where he will go to Gatwick area

All is well that end well

Thank you for replying

Thanks guys but all the thanks has to be given to the family taking him on. Without their kind gestureto do so i don't know what would have happened to this lad.

That said his current family have looked after him very well and he has wanted for nothing its just a shame that circumstances mean he has to be re homed .

Hi there

Thank you for the offer but i handed him over to his foster family today who have fallen madly in love with him. They already have 4 or 5 homes available

once again

Thank you

Just heard back and this handsome lad has been to the local pub met a few strange dogs and behaved perfectly . He has also gone for a long on the lead walk with the families other 3 dogs, has been fed and watered and is settling in well to the home having full run of his new garden.

This was him in my car travelling

this was him on handover
