I've been in the fire service for 15 years, and am a Watch Commander. I was in charge of the callout to release a dog stuck in a cage. This incident has to be one of the most unusual I've ever attended, and the one that made my eyes water the most
!!!!
Fortunately all ended well, and Kane was really well behaved despite his predicament and the obvious embarrassment!!

Even more reason not to use crates then 
Ive tried Enzo and Carley in a crate once each and never again, Enzo got his paw stuck in between the bars and Carley got her teeth stuck in between the bars and made her mouth bleed. Luckily i managed to get them both free without the fire brigade though
I kinda think crates are cruel anyway, i wouldnt volunteer to live in a prison so i dont think dogs should have to live in a crate.
