The Staffordshire bull terrier pups were taken from a second-floor flat in Albert Street on Friday between 1130 BST and 1345 BST.
Police believe the thieves discovered the puppies were in the flat after they were put up for sale in a newspaper.
The eight-week-old dogs cost £200 each and two of them have brindle markings.
Scum !

There are so many dogs being stolen at the moment it's beyond belief, I've read of three cases in the press this week where adult Staffords have disappeared from gardens etc, 2 dogs were taken from the same garden in Hyde, Cheshire this last week. It's a sorry state of affairs which we must all be very aware of.

If you're in the business of thieving then it makes perfect sense. Like it or lump it not all criminals are idiots.
