Staffie saves girl

this was on edinburgh radio station Forth 1. a 16 year old girl was attacked by a man whilst out walking in Edinburgh. the police said that they believe the man is the same man who violently assaulted another female a short time ago in edinburgh. the young girl involved managed to escape without injury and it was all thanks to her staffordshire bull terrier, the dog which is normally very passive and friendly attacked the man when he tried to attack the girl, he protected his owner! the police stated that if it hadn't been for the dog the girl could have been seriously assaulted, sexually and physically, or worse she may have been killed. the police may also have been able to get the mans DNA from samples that they were able to get from the dogs mouth. don't know how many papers or high profile news channels this will be on tho.

my mrs has said in past whilst walking dogs at night they are very protective if people get to close behind her geting very anxious and alert! but like you say will any the big groups pick it up its not such a good sound bite as devil dog atacks lets hope they do staffies need a break

some good news about staffies damn i think i would ever see the day well done to the staffy that protected that girl
