Re: staff atacks 7yr old
Was something on the front page of my local paper this week about a teenaged boy and his 2 golden retrievers getting mauled by a staffy in the park thats about a mile from my house. Looks like the police are cracking down on it in my area now aswell coz everytime a police car passes me now they go real slow just staring at my dogs

Re: staff atacks 7yr old
people shouldn't really condemn any breed from a media report that doesn't include photographic conformation of the breed.
anything black & tan is a rottie, anything with a square head & muscles is a staffy.
i would assume staffy owners in any part of the world that has adopted a bsl suffers the same problems as we do down under.
there are no more pitbulls or any other restricted breeds left...they are all x staffies now.
staffy owners certainly have a rough row to hoe.
staffies are definatly under the pump because of the deliberate misrepresentation by certain ''breed'' owners.
the incident in sydney being a case in point.
the dog has been described as a staffy x pitty.
how could anyone tell just by looking at the dog for c'ris sake.
