The dog attack on the little boy and his mother by two Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

My heart goes out to the boy and his brave mother, such a shame for them. Her uncle let them into the kitchen and they just attacked the lad, their eyes were rolled back and they were going mental. I CAN'T understand it, why didn't he just keep them outside? I can't understand why a Stafford would do this (that's if it was a Stafford) The dogs can't have been socialized properly.

The Newspaper is having a field day and the pic of the black Staff is laughable

AND don't get me started on some of the readers' comments at the bottom of the article!!!

Sorry i feel for the family but i totally refuse to read any article like this as i feel with so many dogs being bred that are clearly not Staffords but carry the Stafford name due to their dumb *** breeders misleading and in some cases not misleading the buyers of their pups.

I'm sure no doubt the readers are having great fun slating the Stafford etc etc but they do forget that other dog breeds bite and kill children yet these attacks are hardly ever reported !!!

I try not to read them BUT I can't help meself! I just can't believe how thick and idiotic some people are. The guy who says his Westie was mauled by a Chav and his "Stafford" and then goes on to say they're all evil and should be banned.
Or the comment the "types" of people who own these dogs.

Makes me blood boil.

Tragic story ! What really gets me is the how the media always seem to type cast all Stafford owners as some kind of 'Chavy' scum who wander the streets with a mouthful of rotten teeth and a bit of loose change in their pockets, only having a dog as a form of protection.

I hope the the young lad and his mum are ok. Must have been a horrible experience.

However, with the amount of dogs as mentioned being passed off as staffys, it does make you wonder how true these articles are in getting the breed correct.
