in the evening times Glasgow
A man was viciously attacked by a thug who tried to hit his pet dog in Glasgow,s west end.
the man was walking with his staffordshire bull terrier pup when a man approached and tried to attack the dog with a metal bar.
the dog walker tried to save his pet from being harmed by picking it up but he was attacked by the thug who struck him on the wrist.
the victim has no feeling in his right hand and will most certainly require plastic surgery to repair the damage caused.
i,ve reread the story in the paper a few times and no mention of the pup ... i hope she is ok and her owner is on the mend to ....... i must say i would do anything to save Hoopy and could only imagine what the owner was going through ... and of course what the poor pup went through herself xx

That is sickening but unfortunately not uncommon.
We have a lovely dog in at the moment who when he was about 10 months old was knifed by a teenage girl - he is the most sweetest dog ever and loves his cuddles - so effectionate even after all he has been through.
