Boxers are known for being lovable little goofballs and are seen as a safe family dogs and no one goes running from them that's for sure. And here are two 9 month old boxers who decided to attack a little girl.

It is true - my previous dog, a chow-shepherd mix everyone thought was so sweet could never be trusted. She never actually bit, but I would call her a potential fear biter. Rest her soul, she was high strung and easily alarmed. Barney - everyone is afraid of, and he hasn't a mean bone in his body - not even those stubby little legs. Unless licking someone to death is a crime. With my other dog, no one would suspect she could be a problem, but one time a friend accidentally got between me and her and she pinned her to the wall like a rottweiler. Even the trainer expressed concern when she was only 4 months old. (It is nice to have a love bug like Barney after my previous experience). I'm in favor of taking each dog (and person) on their own merits or lack thereof.
