George Galloway call for total ban on Staffies

Former Labour party MP, now leader of the Respect party George Galloway has courted controversy by calling for the outright ban of all Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

This is what a poster called Freddie has said;

Many of you are still missing the very salient point made by Mr Galloway. If a Labrador attacks my children in a park the Labrador would be dead from a broken neck within five seconds, that or I would use my pocket knife to slice through its neck.

With the bull-terrier breeds it is a different proposition. As mentioned above the gameness of these breeds allows them to go on fighting while spurting gouts of blood from large puncture wounds.

I helped pull a bull-terrier type dog off a West Highland terrier some years back. It took both dogs owners and two others to subdue the beast which left a two inch rip along my friends thigh. The Westie was lucky to have an ear partly ripped off.

Owners of bull-terrier type dogs should be aware that people like me will not hesitate to kill your dog if it is not on a lead and it comes too close to me and mine. Your day in court with me will be your waste of money and time because the public is not with you on this one.

labs are twice the size of staffies, and your saying staffies would do more damgae?

this people got a really good point. i have seem some right nasty lab around here :at wits' end: i would be more scary of a big lab attack me than a staffy

I had a good go at Freddie, said as he is so aggressive, it is all his children know and they will grow up to be aggressive as well laughing

I am Mable I think, can't remember now.

Labs are amongst the highest when it comes to dog bites and they have been the top biters several times.

Let's hope Mr. Galloway is aware we don't go in court but behind a sauna if he even farts towards my dog!

Thanks god my dog and I live in Finland. But you never know what EU membership brings. If a directive how curved a curcumber is allowed to be can go through, some day some fu***ng genius can find out: "Hey, let's ban some dog breeds."
