Ruby's Turn

Post by janandruby on Fri 06 Nov 2009, 18:33

It's Ruby's turn to pull a muscle in her leg. She ran around like an idiot on the playing fields this morning and seemed fine but then this afternoon she will hardly put her foot to the floor! She's slept on the leg most of the afternoon so that won't help. I've given her some tea and some metacam and wondered if there's anything else I can do apart from a vet's visit in the morning? sad

Aw thanks Jo, I'll give her a big huge hug from you. Thanks too Oxide, I won't be taking her out tonight anyway with all these fireworks about, it'll be out for pee and poo and then back in. Allie and Staffie2 thanks for your kind words also. I'll be keeping an eye on her tonight and then vets tomorrow just to be on the safe side.

Thank you Dieselsmummy, we'll be keeping a close eye on her tonight. She's just woken up and had an attack of hiccups too but has now zonked again. I think the metacam is helping Big grin

Oh crikey! I know just how you both must be feeling.

Coco's had things 'wrong' with all four legs during her little lifetime.

Only thing about her is that she completely shuts down and sooks in her bed for about 2 days, then gets over it and is her normal cheery self again. The vet reckons that she is a wuss, and that many SBTs do this when injured.
