I was told No By the lady at the petshop she recommended the shop brand (biased I know) or I think wainrights =S . Im no expert though But just what I was told!

In all honesty - Both will feed your pup , but when you can get better for less???

i was getting wainrights £6.99 for 2kg
pedigree puppy is £6.49 3kg
he seems to like the pedigree aswell

Royal Canin is quite good for young puppies. I tried my dog on it and he liked it before switching to a BARF diet.

All the pups at work are fed arden grange dry or the arden grange wet food - great nutritionally too.
